Chaar Sahibzaade To Break All Time Punjabi Film Record


The punjabi animation film Chaar Sahibzaade is on its way to break the all time Punjabi Film earnings record. The film has had an even bigger 2nd week then its first and the third week even better then the second. According to the number of screens opening up across India, it might have an even stronger 4th week. The film has been running packed houses and already has broken records overseas. There hasn’t been any film Indian film in history to show this much improvement from it’s first week and it’s performance continues to get stronger.

The film has overshadowed the Shahrukh Khan Starer HNY and took quite a bit of screen away internationally with a better per screen average.

Chaar Sahibzaade’s performance has been so good that it has hurt business of Bollywood films HNY, The Shaukeens, and Kill Dill in East Punjab Circuit, Delhi, and Overseas. The film has been receiving a tremendous response from Punjabi audiences who’ve been watching the film not once but twice and sometimes thrice.

The Film is on pace to break Salman Khan Starer Kick record in East Punjab as it’s ahead in it’s second week collections.

Industry Analysts expect the film will no doubt break Diljit Dosanjh’s Jatt and Juliet Record in it’s Third Week.

“Happy New Year” has grossed £29,378 from 23 screens at the UK box office in the fourth weekend and its 24-day collection stands at £1,309,501 (₹12.70 crore). The movie has landed in the third place, while Punjabi film “Chaar Sahibzaade” (£322,429) and “Kill Dil” (£98,074) graced first and second spots in the business chart in the country.

Punjabi movies “Chaar Sahibzaade” (A$486,556) and “Baaz” (A$42,507) and “Kill Dil” have pushed down “Happy New Year” to fourth spot in Australian business chart. The heist drama has A$6,996 from 8 screens at the Australia box office in the fourth weekend. Its 24-day collection has reached A$735,757 (₹3.98 crore) in the country.

“Happy New Year” has been pushed down to third place by “Chaar Sahibzaade” (NZ$41,920) and “Kill Dil” (NZ$16,406) at the business chart in the New Zealand in its fourth weekend. The multi-starrer movie has raked in NZ$4,731 from 4 screens at the box office, taking its 24-day total to NZ$293,522 (₹1.44 crore).

The Punjabi audience has shown they can come out in big numbers if high quality Punjabi films are made as 2 films have matched up with Bollywood films according to the dollar amount per screen. Although bollywood films have more screen, but the per screen average is much higher of Punjabi films. Film Chaar Sahibzaade Box Office report show it continues to do well with more and more screens opening up worldwide to meet the demand.
