The British Columbia Regiment is looking for a mysterious Sikh man in a 1913 official portrait of the regiment.

The picture shows sergeants and warrant officers, including a Sikh man in a suit and white turban. The official picture has been hanging on the walls of the regimental hall in downtown Vancouver for decades.

According to Warrant Officer Ron Leblanc, there are no records explaining the presence of a Sikh man.“It is interesting as all other men in the photo are white expect one .The man is sitting in right in the front row.”

The regiment is hopeful that they will identify the Sikh man in the picture as people can contact the regiment for the same.
