Bhai Jagraj Singh gives a hard hitting talk on the British influence to deteriorate the Sikh institutions. The British had a key role in diluting Sikhi and to spread the message that the warrior text Dasam Granth was a creation of anti-Sikh elements to deter Sikhs from their warrior spirit.

The Sikhs were always the most resistant to the British and they knew in order to subdue the Sikhs, a conspiracy must be launched to weaken them which is why they reduced the Kirpan size from 3feet to less than 6 inches.

The British gave control of Sikh institutions to Mahants which further diluted the Sikh traditions but not before the Singh Sabha movement came to a rescue in the 1920s.
