A gunman went on a rampage in Nova Scotia in Canada killing 10 people including a police officer in one of Canada’s deadliest mass shooting.
The gunman identified as Gabriel Wortman age 51 was shot and killed after a day long manhunt reported the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia.
The office killed in the rampage was a man who served the force for 23 years named Heidi Stevenson who was a constable.
The suspect fled the scene by wearing a police uniform similar to that of the Royal Canadian Mounties.
The mass killing occurred in Portapique, Nova Scotia and the cause of the shooting or motive is still being investigated.
The small Canadian town has a population of just about 150 residents and residents are concerned after a massive police presence in the small town.
