Gurpreet asks to help her out from Germany and be taken to India again, foreign Ministry confirms support. Gurpreet alleges in a video that went viral on social media that her in laws tricked her into going to Germany and she is now stuck in refugee camps.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj stepped in to help Gurpreet who wanted to come back to India. “Gurpreet – I have got the report from our Embassy in Germany,” Swaraj tweeted.

In another tweet, Swaraj said the Indian Consulate General in Frankfurt is handling the matter and he has even spoken to her father also. “We will help you,” Swaraj said. Gurpreet, hailing from Faridabad, said she and her daughter want to go back to India as soon as possible and claimed that she was taken to Germany by her inlaws in a “fraudulent” way. She, however, did not mention where she is staying now.
