BBC News interview Indy Singh, trustee of Khalsa Aid on the 2015 flood relief efforts carried out by Khalsa Aid in Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria.

We share how Khalsa Aid has used its international experience with flood relief in India, Bosnia and Somerset, UK to support communities, local Government and the Army in the north of England.

Khalsa Aid deployed a relief team immediately after news broke out of flooding in the UK and have been providing:

– Flood defence support (sand bags, volunteers)
– Flood damage clearance
– Over 3,000 hot vegetarian meals to local communities
