A few days after a controversial video surfaced of Dera Sirsa Head imitating Lord Vishnu, a followers of the Dera clashed with the Hindu Shakti morcha members. The Hindu leaders were attempting to burn an effigy of the Sauda Sadh but the Dera premis clashed with the group outside of the railway station in Ludhiana.

The head of the Hindu Shakti Morcha Rohit Sawney was reported have suffered with injuries to his leg and filed a complaint against the Dera premi.

The Hindu group believes their religious sentiments were hurt after the Sauda Sadh dressed up as Lord Vishnu. The protest in Ludhiana was against the impersonation act.

Rohit told the Hindustan Times:

“When we were carrying out the protest, Dera Premis arrived on the scene in an SUV and threatened us with dire consequences. When we resisted, they tried to run us over. In the attempt, my leg was hurt as they crushed my foot under the car,” Sawney claimed.
