Book “Sikhs in World War I” by Sikh Scholar Released in Holland

LONDON, UK (October 4, 2013)— A Book by Bhupinder Singh Holland titled “Sikhs in World War I” was released English Amsterdam, Netherlands. The punjabi version of the book was launched in August by SGPC Head Avtar Sikh Makkar at Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana. Many notable guests from all over Eurpose and Punjab arrived at the launch.

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mr. Mark Rutte and other Government Officials sent thier good wishes t and messages of congratulations to Bhupinder Singh Holland.

Previously, S. Bhupinder singh has written two books dealing with the History of Sikh in Europe and many articles related to Sikhs in the past. Many of the rare pictures of Sikhs in various wars have been researched and obtained by S. Bhupinder Singh.
