From the day one is blessed with Amrit, it is mandatory for that individual to do Nitnem daily. Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale explains categorically that every morning the Amritdhari Sikh must read Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav-Prasad Savaiye, Benti Chaupai and Anand Sahib.
These five prayers are read in the Amrit Sanchar ceremony. These five must be read, it is the code of conduct. However, some are now questioning this Maryada, saying to leave Jaap Sahib, leave Savaiye, and leave Chaupai Sahib. But no, there is no one in this world who has taken birth that can challenge the Sikh Rehat Maryada (or code of conduct).
The same five prayers that are read during the Amrit Sanchar must be recited by the Sikh daily so he/she can receive the blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and bring positivity into their life.
