Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale speaks strongly about the negative effects of the Punjabi music industry and the massacre of the Sikh youth through drugs. Sikhs were warriors, not entertainers and dancers.
There are numerous singers in Punjab. Many adorn a turban, many who don’t and there are now many female singers too. A large majority of the “entertainment” industry in India are Punjabi. If these brothers and sisters could be awakened, become the children of Guru Sahib Ji and use their voices to instead sing the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji as opposed to anti-Gurmat songs, there would be enormous benefits for the Punjabi Sikhs.
A river of drugs now flows throughout Punjab. This is the work of agencies. For these agencies to carry out such a task, they need two types of people. One is corrupt officers, and the other is sell-out leaders. After nourishing the financial greed of both these types of people, the land of Punjab is flooded with drugs. There is a massacre of the youth taking place, this time without the use of guns and tanks.
Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale spoke on this subject during the Diwaan at Pohlo Majra on 14 March 2016, which was attended by thousands.
