Four security guards attac-hed with former BJP MP from Amritsar Navjot Singh Sidhu were allegedly withdrawn by the Punjab government on Tuesday.
BJP star campaigner Sidhu, who had launched a virulent attack on the ruling SAD and Badals in Punjab during his Haryana Assembly polls campaign recently, reacted sharply to the development. “It is not democracy in Punjab where everyone has an opinion, but rule of danda tantra (rule of cane) and gunda tantra (rule of hooligans). I had raised genuine issues and dared Badals for an open debate. And when they have no answer, they have resorted to such petty politics,” Sidhu said over phone from Delhi.
“I do not fear anyone. Those who walk the path of truth have no fear. I live in a world where my mind is without fear and head held high,” Sidhu said, adding that he was brave and not a coward.
