The 2015 annual charitable event, which took place yesterday on 13 February 2015, was dedicated to the birth anniversaries of Sahibzada Baba Ajit Singh Ji & Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale.
The Parmeshar Dwar Trust organizes this event every year to assist the economically less fortunate by wholly funding the weddings, as well as providing the initial settling requirements for each couple, including beds, house furniture, clothing etc.
In front of the thousands present within Guru Sahib Ji’s Darbar, 51 weddings took place simultaneously in accordance to Sikh customs. Each newly-wed was requested to take steps in advancing their bond with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and living their married lives in accordance with Gurmat.
