In order to show solidarity with the cause initiated by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa’s hunger strike and to create awareness of the campaign to free Sikh prisoners languishing in Indian jails, a special Gurmat Diwaan by Panthic Parcharak Baba Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale has been arranged at Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib to take place on Thursday 1 January 2015.
Welcomed by the worldwide Sikhs who continue to pray for the success of the campaign, the Akhand Paath Sahib Bhog and Ardas Samagam for the freedom of those who are confined behind bars having already completed their legal sentences will be followed by the Gurmat Diwaan by Baba Ranjit Singh Khalsa in the afternoon. The event will be taking place during the hours of 9am to 4pm IST on Thursday.
Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib, near Ambala city in the state of Haryana, is situated within the ancestral village of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s mother, Mata Gujar Kaur Ji.
To accommodate the expected large turnout, transport for the Sangat has been arranged to and from Ambala. Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has made an appeal for all Sikhs to attend the Mahaan Samagam.
