Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday his car was attacked in Punjab’s Ludhiana with sticks and stones, causing damage to the windscreen of the vehicle.
“…Badals n congress nervous? They can’t break my spirits (sic),” Kejriwal tweeted after the incident. A photo retweeted by the Aam Aadmi Party’s official handle showed the broken windscreen of Kejriwal’s car and police present at the scene.
The Delhi chief minister earlier visited Boha village in Ludhiana, where two Dalit youth were killed in an alleged fake encounter in 2014. “Terror of Badals is all set to end after one year,” he said to the families of the two.
The attack took place as Kejriwal exited a venue where he interacted with industrialists around 12.20pm. A group of Sikh protestors threw stones at his car.
Arvind Kejriwal wrote on social networks:
“My car is attacked with stones and sticks in Ludhiana. But they cannot break my spirit. Congress nervous.” Arvind Kejriwal
