Pune, India: A man wielding what the police said was a fake gun, walked into a bank just outside Pune and left with almost 4 Lakh rupees in cash. Security cameras on Wednesday inside the bank located in Wagholi captured the event taking place.
The man took out a gun and then began threatening employees of the bank and gathered almost 4 Lakh rs in cash. He packed the cash in a bag and took the bank manager hostage as he fled.
The manager was forced to drive him on his motorbike but as the fuel ran out the thief left him and took a tempu to escape. Local shopkeepers around the bank helped identify the man and the police are now searching for him.
