Karan Johar made a comment on how Amitabh Bachchan has nothing to do with being a Punjabi yet he still spoke Punjabi because he says “when you are in Rome you do what the Romans do.”

Here is the clip:

This didn’t go to well with Amitabh Bachchan. He respond back by saying, “No Karan .. I speak Punjabi because my Mother was as Sikh ; that makes me a half Sikh and so I speak Punjabi .. !!!!”

Karan Johar was forced to apologize for his comment. He replied in a Tweet:

Amitabh has laid claim to be a half Sikh which people on Twitter weren’t too happy about. They responded to Amitabh Bachchan by saying.

In a post from April 2017 in a picture Amitabh tweeted he said his grandparents must be happy to see him in a Sikh look for his new film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’
