Akali Dal’s Surjit Singh Rakhra Chased Away by Sikhs in Samana

Surjit Singh Rakhra becomee another leader of Akali Dal who faced anger of Sikhs. Recently Shiromani Akali Dal Leader and Minister for Rural Development & Panchayat in the present Punjab Government Surjit Singh Rakhra faced anger of Singhs and chased by Singhs. A video circulated on social media has gone viral. The incident is of Gurdwara Garhi Sahib, Samana.

Sikhs were raising Slogans like “Panth de Gaddar”

It may be recalled that Few days back in Kapurthala, Chased by angry Sikh protesters attacking their vehicles with swords and sticks, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders had to flee State Gurdwara barefoot. Bholath legislator Bibi Jagir Kaur; former minister Upinderjit Kaur; SAD district president Jarnail Singh Wahid; SGPC members Gurpreet Kaur and Sarwan Singh Kullar; and district planning committee chairman Sarabjit Singh Makkar slipped out of the backdoor but many other leaders did not get time to even put their shoes back on. The windowpanes of the cars of Kullar and SAD district general secretary Harvinder Kaur were smashed. Now Surjit Singh Rakhra also joins the list of Shiromani Akali Dal Badal leaders who faced wrath of Sikhs.

SGPC Member Paramjit Singh from Adampur was also thrashed by Angry Villagers . Captain Amarinder Singh appealed sikhs not to harm Jathedars and Akali Leaders in his yesterday`s statement.
