AirAsia Flight 8501 lost contact with air traffic controllers in Jakarta, Indonesia the crisis center for AirAsia Reported on Sunday.
The flight path was from Surabaya, Indonesia to Singapore which the Airline reported. The plane took flight at 5:27 AM from Surabaya Juanada International Airport and was to arrive in Singapore at 8:37am. The crisis center has failed to make contact with the airline and currently does not know where the airline is.
However reported by the airline is that the pilot demanded a strange change in route and authorities are contacting nearby air planes whether they saw anything. The people on the ground are also being contacted as to whether they have any information on seeing any planes either land or debris of any airplane. It’s still a bit early to know what exactly happened.
AirAsia Flight 8501 hasn’t reported it’s location to air traffic controllers for almost 4 hours now.
