Aerial View of the Surrey Nagar Kirtan Attended by 350,000 Sikhs

Aerial view of 350,000 people flocking to Surrey’s marvelous Vaisakhi parade 2016. The event is the largest till date outside of India of a mass Sikh gathering.

The city of Surrey is home to one of the largest per square population of Sikhs anywhere in the world. An estimated 40% of the entire population of the city is Sikh.

The community has contributed tremendously to the growth of the city and it’s estimated that by the year 2020, 50% of the population of the city will be Sikh.
