September is the birth month of Mata Khivi Ji, one of Sikhi’s most special and revered mothers. She is celebrated for embodying the spirit of service and compassion which is central to Sikhi, through her life of devotion and seva. In the month of September, Sikh students from universities across the nation will be celebrating her contributions by holding langars at various campuses across Canada. What better way to celebrate the life of one of our esteemed mothers, than by continuing and carrying out her mission!
