(DSU News Bureau) Reportedly, a golden Kalash (Pot) worth 16 lakh rupees was stolen at historic Gurdwara Nada Sahib in Panchkula, Haryana.

The Gurudwara Nada Sahib is a famous religious place of the Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh Ji halted there while travelling from Paonta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib after the Battle of Bhangani in 1688.

The robbery occurred around 3am according to sevadars of the Gurdwara who say the Kalash was displayed in the Gurdwara for visitors to see. The sevadars said, “The kalash was locked is locked in a room as soon as night time, but someone broke the lock and committed the crime.”

Sevadars discovered the Kalash to be missing early in the morning and called the police.

Police arrived at the Gurdwara Sahib to investigate the crime. According to the police a crime committed by an insider cannot be ruled out.

The pot referred to as Kalaash had a large amount of gold and copper inside.
