Sikh Student and 3 Others Die in Car Crash on Beach in New Zealand

Four Indians including a Sikh named Jagmeet Singh have died in a crash on Muriwai Beach, Auckland, New Zealand yesterday. The wife of the student Manjeet Kaur has asked for help from the Sikh community in anyway they can be of assitance.




The bodies were of all men were recovered from the incident at the beach.

The police told 3News

“We’ve got a lot of work to do to try and locate the families of these four young men,” says Inspector Mark Fergus.

“We’ve recovered as much as we can from the beach, but the tide is well in now and we’re unable to do anything more at the crash scene.”

The police called in a rescue hospital to air lift the bodies to the hospital.

The bodies of the other men of Indian descent haven’t yet been identified.
