Sikh Cab Driver Finds and Returns Bag Full of Cash to Passenger

Jatinder Singh from Oakland, California made the headlines after he returned a passenger’s bag holding $5,000 in cash. Jatinder said, “I am proud to be Sikh” and that his faith teaches to do the righteous thing. The Taxi Company officials from Uber congratulated the Sikh for his honest and termed his a “Real Sikh.”


Jatinder was inspired by his own efforts and got his cab’s license plate’s name changed to ‘I am Sikh’.

The company was so impressed by Jatinder’s act of kindness and honesty that they registered an award under his name called the “Jatinder Award” for honesty.

Jatinder is proud of the fact that he’s a Sikh and actively promotes to spread awareness about Sikhs wherever he visits.
