Rupinder Singh Khalsa who is allegedly framed by Punjab Police in Kotkapura sacrilege case has been admitted in PGI in Trauma ward as an emergency patient of neurology. He was referred to PGI by doctors of Civil Hospital Faridkot late night on Monday and shifted to PGI in the early morning today.
Rupinder Singh along with his brother Jaswinder Singh was remanded to judicial custody till November 09 by Faridkot Dsitrict court after the police remand was over on Monday. Its notable that the police claimed that the two brothers, Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh, arrested for sacrilege at Bargari village had received funds from abroad to commit the crime.
The police have not supported their claim with any fresh evidence so far. On the other hand, the callers from Dubai and Australia have refuted the police theory and expressed their willingness to join the probe.
