Punjabi Man Saves Woman from Sexual Assault in Calgary

A Punjabi driver stepped into stop a sexual assault and helping the victim at the Northwest Transit. The incident occurred around 10:45 PM at the intersection of Sandstone Drive and Berkshire Blvd Northwest as the victim. The victim came running towards the bus to seek help.

Amandeep Hunjan arrived on the scene just as the sexual assault was happening. The victim approached Amandeep crying who wanted to seek Amandeep’s help who then called the police.

Amandeep came to the rescue of the woman by providing her refuge inside the bus and provided her with water.

The police have described the attack as a random event.

The wanted suspect is being described between the ages of 18-20, five feet ten inches, and being medium built. The man was reported to be wearing a black baseball cap, grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
