Last week, a picture was posted on social media on Martin Luther King Day showing Dr. shaking hands with a Sikh man. Sikhs on social media were trying to identify the Sikh gentleman.
After thorough research by Dr. Jasjit Singh a fellow at the University of Leeds in the UK, he was able to identify the man. It turns out his name is Jaswant Singh Dhami, one of the founders of the Indian Workers Association of Southall who met Dr. King at an event in the UK.
