Man Kaur, the woman who has become one of the most elderly women in history to run 100 metre races has now won gold at the World Masters meet. the 101 year old woman from Punjab competed in Auckland this past Monday and came out ahead in 1 minute and 12 seconds. New Zealand media have called Man Kaur the ‘miracle from Chandigarh’.
Man Kaur came to the spotlight few years back when she continously won medals at various races around the world. She came into running with her son Gurdev Singh at age 93.
