Thugs pinned a 64 year old Punjabi woman to the ground and ripped her gold jewelry off from her. The elderly woman was brutally robbed in broad daylight on Rochdale street on Thursday in the UK.
The robbers snatched £3,200 ($5,000) worth of golden bangles off the woman. Punjabi women are known widely to wear expensive jewelry and this might be the cause the thugs targeted her.
After seeing the woman on the floor being pinned down, passer by came towards her and that’s when the robbers ran away.
One of the thugs is described to be a white male with bald head wearing a dark blue tract suit. The second thug wearing cloth around his while head and wearing a darker color track suit.
The detective on the scene stated the victims was “manhandled” and considerable amount of gold was robbed.
He went on to say, “nature of an attack of this sort in broad daylight is worrying.”
The detective issue a statement saying if anyone recognizes the jewelery if it’s being sold to call the appropriate numbers.
