5 Sikh Organisations Doing Excellent Work

The following organisations in the past year have done excellent work.

2) Ensaaf is a nonprofit organization working to end impunity and achieve justice for mass state crimes in India, with a focus on Punjab. They have successfully documented thousands of cases involving fake Punjab Police encounters. 3) Basics of Sikhi is a great initiative to spread awareness of Sikhi not just within Sikhs but all. Through their very informative Youtube videos they have been able to reach many non punjabi speaking people. 4) Seva84 is an organisation which has worked hard to support many families of the 1984 Sikh Genocide in Delhi. They have helped build a Gurudwara that was destroyed during the Genocide and have assisted many families with aid. They have focused a great amount of attention towards Sikh Youth who have been addicted to drugs by counseling and assisting them. 5) Voice of Voiceless is an organisation based in Delhi, India which works to not only spread awareness of Sikhi, stands up for Sikh Rights, and pursues complaints against those portraying Sikhi negatively. They have received much success of having an awareness drive and successfully pursuing action against various individuals who showed Sikhs in bad light.
