Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal responded to a question of Captain Amrinder Singh threat to Sukhbir Badal on closing down the PTC Punjabi channel. Sukhbir Badal in a joking manner stated now “I’ve bought out Jagbani”.
Considering Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) a threat to the SAD in the 2017 Assembly elections, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today warned the people that if AAP came to power, its “newborn” leaders would ruin the state as they would remain busy in quarrelling with the Centre.
In their regime, the farmers would also suffer in a big way as they would have to face severe problems in selling their paddy and wheat, he added.
While holding ‘Sangat Darshan’ programmes in Badbar and Handhiaya villages, Sukhbir said the SAD “does what it says” while the AAP leaders “say something, do another thing”.
He also did not spare the Congress, saying that nothing had been done during the regime of Capt Amarinder Singh.
