2 Tractor Loads Full of Toys Given Free by Sikhs on Canada Day

Sikhs celebrated Canada Day in Ontario with a Punjabi Mela where thousands around the Ontario Province attended the event. Several Punjabi singers entertained the crowd where food was being served at no cost.

The Sikhs took Canada Day a step further by handing out free stuffed animal toys to kids. Several Sikh business persons organized a free toy distribution off of 2 tractor trailers.

The toys were estimated to be at a cost of about $25,000. The organizers stated that they wanted to put smiles on the faces of the kids and so they organized the free toy distribution in honor of Canada Day.
