2 Raagis Escape After Arriving at Toronto’s Pearson Airport

2 Raagi Singhs escaped after arriving at Toronto’s Pearson Airport from India. The Raagis were set to do kirtan at Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Centre located at 99 Glidden Road, Brampton, Canada.


The 2 Raagis are part of the Jatha which arrived at the airport on September 16, 2015 from Ludhiana, India. The management committee arrived a bit late at the airport which the Raagis took advantage and took off. The Raagis had told their companion that they were going for a drink of water and they never returned.

One of the Raagis named Jaspreet Singh is from Village of Burj, Dist. Ludhiana and Sukhjit Singh Dhaliwal is from Halwara, Dist Ludhiana.

The Raagis took their luggage and property belonging to the Gurdwara which is estimated at around rupees 90,000 which was brought from India.

A news agency contacted their family but denied the information.
