Ferozpur, Punjab: Punjabi weddings are usually a lavish affair, where family members and friends of the bride and groom celebrate in extravagant style. Punjabi’s are known for pushing the boat out in terms of expense and a bit of a rowdy crowd. But not all weddings go without incident, as happened when a waiter died following firing by youngsters in the air inside a wedding palace in Ferozpur.

The staff of the hotel repeatedly requested the youngsters to not fire inside the hotel but despite several warnings the firing continued.
The youngsters engaged in an argument with the waiters which resulted in one of the waiters being shot and killed. The police arrived on the scene to conduct an investigation.
